Full + 3/4 Day Salmon Fishing
Homer Salmon Fishing is one of the most exciting adventures to embark upon! For some, it's the thrilling bite and for other's, it's the scenic trolling and good people. Whichever is your itch for salmon fishing, Homer is the place to be! From February 1st thru September, we are fishing for Kings (Chinook Salmon) and Silvers (Coho Salmon)! Homer is one of the few places on the Kenai Peninsula that maintains a King migration during the shoulder season months of Feb, March, and April!
For residents and early travelers, this is an exciting time, as you not only beat crowds, but you get the chance to catch salmon during the feeding frenzy! Additionally, this is the perfect time to try your chances at reeling in a White King that migrate from 1 or 2 rivers located in Canada! Once Summer hits, our King salmon run begins mirgrating up to the rivers! This brings our fishing opportunities into May and June. Homer's Silver migration begins towards the end of June and runs thru September. Additionally, we also start fishing the second run of Kings during this time, giving anglers more salmon species to obtain!
For limits on Homer Salmon Fishing in our area, please review below:
King Salmon: 1-2 daily | 4 per year starting April 1st
Silver Salmon: 3 daily | No annual limit
Additionally, we get Pink Salmon runs every two years! While this isn't the most sought after fish for eating, it's a great fish to smoke, can, preserve for pup treats and more!
Pink Salmon: Up to 6 daily | No annual limit
**please note that anglers are allowed to be in possession with 6 salmon TOTAL in one given day. With that said, it can be a mixed bag of the species mentioned above, so long as, as your total bag limit is NOT over 6 salmon for the day!

I have been charter fishing in AK in the past but D&G charters were a breath of fresh air. Dez was able to answer any questions that I had and worked with my busy schedule to get two charters booked. It was a smooth and painless process to get our charters booked which isn't always the case. My charter experience exceeded my expectations as I could tell Garrett knew exactly what he was doing. Our Alaskan Halibut fishing experience was the best from start to finish! We really enjoyed the personal attention from Captain Sheridan. We caught our limit within minutes once we started fishing. Captain Sheridan was very attentive to all of my family and was especially wonderful assisting my grandson on his first real fishing trip! I highly recommend D and G fishing charter. It was a very memorable family experience!!!Barbara
My friends and I drove down from Anchorage for our halibut trip with Captain Garrett. I have been on charters before and this one was by far the best! Everyone on the boat got a king salmon and caught their limit of halibut. Captain Garrett was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We will definitely be back soon.Courtney

Things To Consider
When it comes to fishing, there are a few things to consider before purchasing a trip from any charter service. The first and most important, is that while you are hiring an experienced local guide to put you on the best spots, it's impossible to know ahead of time if you'll retreive limits or desired size. To help with reassurance, we can say that our crew is phenomenal and reading reviews prior to booking is the best way to select the charter best for you!
Secondly, in the event you do not rent the boat exclusively, we work hard to book guests with alike personalities and desired goals. While it's not guaranteed everyone will love everyone, it's never been a problem for our guests in the past and in fact, more often than not, we end up seeing life-long friendships developed!
Lastly, being an owner and operator means that we remain hands-on with every interaction and experience that occurs with our team. With that being said, we work hard to ensure a quality and fun trip and more importantly, we want to hear about it! After your trip is complete, please feel free to reach out to us and let us know how we did! Like we said from the beginning, guests that step onto our boats, are returned to the docks as family! See you out on the water!
Cheers,
