AIRBNB + VRBO
There’s something to be said about “feeling at home” while traveling! For us, being able to travel, while having the ability to all stay under one roof and cook meals together is of the upmost importance during vacation! This is why we personally love staying in Airbnb’s and VRBO’s in local towns. Additionally, renting an Airbnb or VRBO gives you a sense of what it’s like being a local with how they live and the things that make their home feel homey! It’s a fun way to experience a local area and tends to be cost effective!

Planning Ahead | Lodging in Homer Alaska
It can be hard to find the perfect time to begin planning your family vacation. With Alaska’s tourism season’s growing, we always recommend sooner than later. Ideally, most of our guests begin planning their lodging in Homer, Alaska starting in September or October the year prior. This allows enough time to secure an ideal location and provides ease for the next round of planning- the adventures!
Always be sure to ask about cancellation policies and refunds on deposit, just in case of an emergency! For those who want to be extra prepared, we highly recommend trip insurance! This has worked wonders for us in the past, especially with traveling with a large family.
